¡@¡@The Steere's liocichla is yellow on the forehead and slaty-gray on the top of the head and the nape of the neck. There is a bright yellow spot between the eye and the base of the beak. Both the shoulder feathers and the back are olive green in color. The waist is slaty. The upper tail coverts are olive yellow. The neck and upper chest are slaty-gray while the lower chest and belly are olive yellow. Their lower belly and legs are slaty. The lower tail coverts are black with orange yellow tips. The beak and feet are leaden black. Total length: 170 mm; beak length: 12-13 mm; wing length: 68-78 mm; tail length: 72-84 mm.
