Function and use

¡@¡@Usually the Amis would take the lunch boxes, holding cooked rice balls or other prepared foods, when out in the fields, fishing or hunting
¡@¡@According to tribe elders, traditional rattan or leave made lunch boxes could preserve food for a whole day and also the food would be enhanced with a sweet bamboo taste.
¡@¡@In general, a single woven container would have many uses. In addition to carrying food, the rattan lunch boxes (about 30-40 cm long) would also be used to hold traps or other tools.
