　　The mouth organ is a small, simple instrument that is easy to carry. Its main parts are the body and the reed. Ordinary mouth organs were made of bamboo with the reed made from bamboo or bronze strips. In addition to the eight ? mouth organ there are the four reed organ and even seven and eight reed organs. The difference in the width of the bamboo or strips produced a different sound. The single and four reed mouth organs were most popular with the Atayal.
