Introduction
¡@¡@Mammuthus imperator was one of the Mammuthus living in the US and the largest sized known elephant. Mammuthus imperator had long, smooth, and backward pointing tusks with the length of 4.3 meters. Because Mammuthus imperatorlived in warm grassland and wood, unlike other Mammuthus living in the cold climate was not furred with dense hair. Some fossil Mammuthus imperator were unearthed in California, US and underground of the downtown of Los Angel, fossil Mammuthus imperator and its subspecies were founded.
