Introduction
General color of Taiwanocerus (Taiwanerrus) tungpus brown, eyes black, vertex with a pair of dark brown spots on anterior margin also visible high on face; pronotum with an anterior oval spot behind each inner margin of eye, a transverse prebasal dark brown band; scutellum with two small brownish discal spots; tegmina brown. This species differs from T. taipingshanus by the characters of pygofer is quadrangular, and aedeagus with two apical appendages. So far, this species was only found in Tungpu, and the host plant is still unknown. The description of this species based on the description of Huang and Maldonado (1992). |
