¡@¡@The Formosan long-eared bat is the smallest long-eared bat. They have a forearm length of 3.7-3.8cm, head and body length of 3.8-4.0cm, and tail length of 4.8-5.0cm. The fur is dark brown to black on the body and tawny at tail end. They have a simple form of nose. The ears are big, oblong and only a little shorter than the body. The tragus is long, triangular, and nearly half the length of the ear. Interfemoral membrane centers on the caudal vertebrae and has V-shaped transverse markings. Except the thumb, all other digits are clawless.
¡@¡@Head & body length: 3.8 - 4.0cm, tail length: 4.8- 5.0cm, weight: about 4-5g, dental formula: 2123/3133=36, toes: five digits on each limb (the digits on the forelimbs are enclosed in the wing membrane).
