¡@¡@The weaving machine was the main tool for making cloth. The Bunun traditional horizontal back carried weaving machine had a back strap, cloth roller, beating rod, thin wood rod, ??? the layer separating rod, stabilizing rod and weaving box. The materials and uses these parts are as follows:
       ¢°¡BThe waist/back strap papavu was made from flexible yellow rattan bark. It was made to a size suitable for a women¡¦s body size. It was worn on the waist to secure the cloth roller peg while the weaving box was held between the legs to give tension to the yarn.
       ¢±¡BThe thread pincer board (roller peg) hacipan was made from baul wood. It was used to hold yarn or finished cloth. It was placed in the abdomen area and tied with the back strap.
       ¢²¡BThe hitting board (hitting rod) was made from hard wood. This was used to keep the horizontal yarn tightly close to the vertical yarn.
       ¢³¡BThin wooden rod susuluk was made from a straight piece of duldula wood.
       ¢´¡BUs-lun was made from hard and straight talum bamboo.
       ¢µ¡BThe ºî¬©´Î was made from hard and straight hauhav.
       ¢¶¡BThe layer separator is-naip was made from hard and straight haohav and was used to separate different levels of weavy grain.
       ¢·¡BThe stabilizing rod hailazu was made from straight and thick a-sik mountain palm wood. It was used to arrange the order of the vertical yarn and could adjust the vertical yarn into a circle.
       ¢¸¡BThe weaving box tuklu was made with straight baul wood. It was used a foot support to, with the waist belt, adjust the tension in the vertical yarn. When not weaving, tools and unfinished cloth could be stored in the box to prevent loss.
