Clothing usually has the function of keeping the wearer warm and protecting him/her. Bunun tribe clothes were the same thickness in winter and summer, but in winter more layers would be worn or a shawl worn over the clothes. Of course, different cloths were worn for different occasions, like farming and hunting and wearing around the house. Clothes worn for every day life were simple and undecorated. Ceremonial clothes were brightly patterned, especially on the back and would be worn with accessories like a bib or apron. When hunting, leather sleeves and trousers would be worn.
