Description

Introduction

General color of Aequoreus huangi orange-yellow.Vertex almost orange with blackish frontal margin. Eyes testaceous. Clypeus uniformly blackish and mostly black in anteclypeus and lorae. Genae with black stripe along the margin of eyes. Pronotum and scutellum orange. Thorax almost blackish. Forewing greenish-yellow but with paler transparent apex. Hind-wing slightly fuscous. Abdomen black. Legs greenish-yellow. This species has quite similar body and head shape with A. disfasciatus; but differs from its body coloration, large pygofer upper appendage and aedeagus. So far, the biological information and host plant of this species is still unknown. The description here based on the description of Chiang (1991).
