¡@¡@Swinhoe's pheasants are a little larger than Mikado pheasants. Males and females have different body colors. Males have a dark blue body with metallic luster. Their cheeks and feet are red while the crest, back and a pair of central tail feathers are white. The shoulder feathers are reddish brown. Females are smaller than males. They are yellowish brown all over with V-shaped black spots. Their cheeks and feet are red. Total length: male 700-790mm and female 460-500mm. Wing length: male 240-250mm and female 231mm. Tail length: male 390-420mm and female 200mm.
