Features

¡@¡@Collared bush robins like perching on protruding objects or resting on bare ground. They often wander through shrubs and along forest service roads or rest on stumps. They feed on insects and breed between April and July. They build their nests in tree holes, on mud walls along the road or in rock crevices, about 1-5m from the ground. Nest materials include moss, ferns, dry grass and thin roots. Their nests are 65-130mm tall with a diameter of 50-65mm and a depth of 30-45mm. The egg is 20x15mm averagely, light green in color with slight luster, and without spots. Females usually lay 2-3 eggs at one time and are responsible for incubation. Both females and males engage in the duty of rearing the young.
