Neckwear was usually made by stringing things like shells and beads together.It can be divided into two kinds, neck bands and necklaces. Neckbands mainly were made by stringing together square shells or shell beads.They had a tie at each end which the wearer would tie at the back of the neck. Necklaces were mainly made by stringing together shell beads, glass beads and pig teeth.
