Flowers

Inflorescece 6-10 cm long, 14- to 23-flowered, bract thin-papyraceous, linear, 1-2 cm long; pedicels 1-3 cm long, in fruit much longer; stamnes 40-75, spreading at first in protandrous tree and downard in protogynous tree, filaments erect when shedding pollen; carpels (5-)7-11, with 16-30 ovules. Follicetum 6-10 mm wide, with persistent dry stigma.
