HRattan work hats were mainly worn by old people, when outside they would wear their rattan work hats to protect against sun and rain.
　　The top of the hats of chiefs and elders would have a small hole, which would be decorated with a feather red ribbon. Only the big chiefs could use Mandarin duck feather.
